11th Imsutemjen Memorial Table Tennis Tournament underway

Mokokchung, Dec. 12 (EMN): The 11th Imsutemjen Memorial Table Tennis Tournament organised by Longtrok Senden Ungma got underway at Amphitheatre Ungma on Monday evening.

The tournament was kicked off by Imlikokba Longkumer, District Planning Officer Mokokchung as the special guest.

In his address, the special guest lauded Longtrok Senden for organising the tournament, which he said was a ‘very good platform for the youths’.

Longkumer said that this event has provided the opportunity for talented youths to expose their skills and a springboard to level up their careers and bring laurels to the community.

Altogether, 61 teams, both from Mokokchung and other districts, are participating in the event. The various categories are men’s singles, men’s doubles, veteran 40+, under-19 boys’ and girls’ singles and doubles.
