3 arrested in Nagaland for Meghalaya petrol pump robbery

DIMAPUR — Dimapur Police apprehended three individuals on Sunday in connection with a petrol pump robbery that took place in Umran Diary, Meghalaya on August 25.
The suspects, identified as Bashen Lam (33), Bokavi Zhimomi (25), and Rokongulie Kebu (17-18), were arrested from in Dimapur, according to sources.
The trio are accused of stealing INR 4 lakh from the petrol pump and fleeing in a Nagaland-registered Bolero. Dimapur Police successfully recovered the vehicle, bearing registration number NL 07 CB 0156, during the operation.
All three arrested individuals, along with the recovered vehicle, are being transferred to Meghalaya Police custody for further investigation.
