Kohima celebrates 8th anniversary of smart cities mission
Kohima Smart City Development Limited (KSCDL) celebrated the 8th anniversary of Smart Cities Mission on Tuesday
DIMAPUR — Kohima Smart City Development Limited (KSCDL) celebrated the 8th anniversary of Smart Cities Mission on Tuesday in its conference hall at the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) building.
An update from KSCDL stated that its executive engineer, Insunaro, delivered a brief note on the journey of Kohima Smart City Development Limited. She enlightened the gathering regarding the various completed and ongoing projects.

The KMC administrator, T Lanusenla Longkumer, who was the special guest of the occasion, thanked the Kohima Smart City Development Limited for shouldering the initiative to realise the objective of smart city mission and being able to implement on ground the various developmental projects which intends to benefit the citizens at the core and in turn create more sustainable and inclusive livable environment.
She also urged the citizens to inculcate smarter lifestyle and contribute to the vision of the smart city and the society in general.
Yhunchilo Khing, general manager of planning division, called upon all the citizens to contribute their best to make Kohima city at least a livable city though not a number one city. He has sought the citizen’s co-operation and participation in their endeavours toward making Kohima city a better place to live.
In commemoration of the 8th anniversary celebration of smart cities mission, KSCDL organised varieties of events such as cyclethon, ICCC visitation, MoHUA TULIP interns orientation, and visit to multi-level car parking in Kohima.
