In an agreement to enhance public awareness regarding pollution and environmental issues, 90.8 Hills FM and the Nagaland Pollution Control Board (NPCB) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
According to K Hukato Chishi, the member secretary of NPCB, this collaboration will enable the dissemination of crucial environmental information to the intended audience.
The update from 90.8 Hills FM emphasised that the MoU facilitates the sharing of NPCB’s data collection efforts, covering areas such as air, water, and soil, with the radio station. This partnership is expected to directly benefit society by raising awareness and promoting informed action.
The report further reveals that the MoU officially took effect on May 19 and will remain valid for five years.
