Nagaland records 104 new Covid-19 positive cases

Dimapur, August 2 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 104 new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 1935.
This was informed by the state’s minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
“Tested 383 samples for Covid-19, out of which 104 cases came out positive. 62 cases in Dimapur, 18 in Zunheboto, 17 in Kohima, 5 in Wokha and one each in Mon and Phek. All contact tracing are fully activated for all safety,” the minister tweeted.
According to the information provided by the Health department, the state has 1279 active Covid-19 cases, 648 recoveries, and four deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 709 active cases, followed by Kohima at 371, Mon 110, Peren 21, Phek 14, Mokokchung 11, Zunheboto 25, Wokha 12, and Tuensang at 4, while Longleng and Kiphire has no cases.
