Nagaland Covid-19 update: 28 new cases reported

Dimapur, Aug. 31 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 28 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 3950.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
“28 positive cases of Covid-19 out of 572 samples received. 14 in Dimapur,10 in Kiphire and 4 in Kohima. Contact tracing have been activated by our IDSP team and all primary contacts are kept under self isolation,” the minister tweeted.
According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 915 active Covid-19 cases, 3017 recoveries and eight deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 420 active cases, followed by Dimapur– 370 Mon – 40, Zunheboto-21, Tuensang-21, 11 in Kiphire, Mokokchung- 9, Wokha-5, Peren-3, and Longleng and Phek has zero cases so far.
