Nagaland Covid-19 update: 49 new cases detected

Dimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 49 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, taking the state’s tally to 4066.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
“49 positive cases of Covid-19 out of 708 samples received. 24 in Dimapur, 24 in Kohima and 1 in Mon. Contact tracing have been activated by our IDSP team and all primary contacts are kept under self isolation,” the minister tweeted.
According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 834 active Covid-19 cases, 3213 recoveries and eight deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 401 active cases, followed by Dimapur – 309, Mon – 50, Zunheboto 20, Tuensang-20, Kiphire-10, Mokokchung- 9, Wokha-4,Peren-2 and 1 each in Longleng and Phek.
