Nagaland Covid-19 update: 50 fresh detections

Dimapur, Sep. 6 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 50 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 4178.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
“50 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed. 42 in Dimapur, 7 in Kohima and 1 in Mon. All contact tracing have been activated by our IDSP team and all primary contacts are being kept under self isolation,” the minister tweeted.
According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 739 active Covid-19 cases, 3419 recoveries and eight deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 361 active cases, followed by Kohima–388, Mon– 30, Tuensang-20, Kiphire-10, Mokokchung-10, Zunheboto-7,Wokha-3; 2 each in Peren and Phek. Longleng has no case currently.
