Nagaland Covid-19 update: Tally rises to 7492 as 76 new cases detected

Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 76 new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday, taking the state’s tally to 7492.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
’76 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Thursday); Kohima-38, Tuensang-15, Dimapur-11, Mon-5, Peren-3, Zunheboto-3 and Mokochung-1. Also, 100 patients have recovered; Mon-58, Kohima-27, Tuensang-8 and Dimapur-7,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1448 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1394 are asymptomatic, 40 mild, 10 moderate and four in critical-ICU. The state has also recorded 5955 recoveries and 17 deaths, out which five are ‘not Covid-19-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 953 cases, followed by Kohima-358, Mon-42, Tuensang-32, Mokokchung-36, Peren-18, Longleng and Zunheboto has four each and Phek-1, while Kiphire and Wokha have zero cases so far.
