Phek, Nov 16 (EMN): The Phek Area Sport’s Association (PASA) conducted 2nd edition of Open Penalty shootout for both men and women on November 14 at Phek town.
An update stated that 55 teams joined the meet, wherein, inmen category, Mad Thrashers (B) defeated Mad Thrashers (A) to clinch the champion title and walked away with a cash prize of INR. 30,000 sponsored by Vesupra Kezo, SP Phek.
Runner-up Mad Thrashers (A) awarded with a cash of INR 20,000 sponsored by Joseph Thongliu, Deputy Commandant 5th NAP Phek.
Semi finalists Phek Sports Association (B) and Beckon FC (A) received INR 3000 each.
In women category, Sister FC Khomi defeated New Radiance in finals to win the champion title. Sister FC Khomi pocketed a cash prize of INR.10,000 sponsored by Zochito Hoshi, Head Teacher GMS Kerühuba Bible Hill Phek.
Runner-up New Radiance got INR 7000 sponsored by Thupuve Vero, public leader, Phek village.
Phek Sports Association (PSA) emerged the third position and received INR. 3000. Fourth prize winner Vigorous FC got INR 2000.
Meanwhile, PASA thanked all the prize sponsors including Phek District Veteran Football Association and CYE Phek Town Baptist Church for extending assistance.
