Dimapur, Nov. 25 (EMN): Team of Mokokchung district tobacco control unit under National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) along with the law enforcers from Police station-I as well as representatives from Watsu Mungdang and Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) carried out an enforcement activity on November 24.
An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Mokokchung, stated that various tobacco products were seized from shops located within the vicinity of educational institutions. It added that defaulters were penalised under Section 6 (b) of Cotpa 2003.
