NYKS celebrates Women’s Day in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, March 8 (EMN): Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) in collaboration with The Green Team Mokokchung celebrated International Women’s Day at Salangtem Community Hall in Mokokchung on March 8.

Besangsenla (MDLSA), who was the resource person for the programme, emphasised on Article 39A of the Indian Constitution, which gives equal opportunities for both men and women.

She highlighted the difficulties women have in gaining justice and encouraged all the women to soar up like eagles by learning and re-learning the laws of the world.

She also challenged the women to start the movement of change and accept the challenges faced to attain justice and rights and to be able to voice out and say ‘I can do it’.

She also advised to fight for rights by changing the mindset, behaviour and increasing self-awareness.
