Nagaland records daily 110 Covid-19 cases, 1 death; tally stands at 28445

Dimapur, Aug. 6 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally has increased to 28,445 as 110 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported on Friday.
The Health and Family Welfare Department updated that out of the 110 new positive cases detected on Friday, Peren accounts for 33 of them, 26 in Kohima, 21 in Dimapur, 10 in Longleng, nine in Mokokchung, five in Zunheboto, three in Tuensang, and one each in Kiphire, Mon and Wokha.
The state also reported one death in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s death toll to 568, while the state’s recoveries rose to 25,682 with 79 patients having recovered.
On Friday, 42 patients recovered from Kohima, 11 in Mokokchung, 10 in Dimapur, six in Wokha, four in Kiphire, and three each in Longleng and Peren.
Nagaland currently has 1,370 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1098 are asymptomatic, 217 mild, 27 moderate on oxygen, 14 severe on oxygen, seven in ICU without ventilator and seven in ICU on ventilator.
In regard to the district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 449 patients, 441 in Kohima, 208 in Mokokchung, 60 in Peren, 54 in Tuensang, 39 in Zunheboto, 35 in Longleng, 27 in Mon, 23 in Phek, and 17 each in Wokha and Kiphire.
