Dimapur, Jan. 21 (EMN): Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Kohima, organised a scientific advisory committee (SAC) meeting on January 20 in its conference hall.
An update from KVK Kohima informed that the programme was chaired by Dr. Ruokuovilie Mezhatsu, senior scientist and institute head, while the welcome address was delivered by Khekali, ACTO (Horticulture), and the concept of scientific advisory committee meeting highlighted by Dr. Paihem, ACTO (Animal Science).
It added that Dr. Ruokuovilie Mezhatsu presented the annual progress report and Zhiete, ACTO (Soil Conservation), presented the annual action plan 2022-23.
The house approved its annual action plan for 2022-23 after thorough deliberation, it was informed.
A total of 18 participants, including progressive farmers and officials from Agri. and allied departments of the district attended the meeting which concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Puchono, SMS (Agronomy).
