Manipur Governor convenes meeting with religious leaders regarding vaccination

Imphal, Feb. 4 (EMN): Manipur Governor, La Ganesan convened a meeting with religious leaders of Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, ISKCON and Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board pertaining to the Covid-19 vaccination at Raj Bhavan on Friday.

The Governor informed them about the dreaded disease, how to prevent it and save lives through vaccination and appealed to them to extend their valuable cooperation for the success of the mission.

During the meeting, the Governor expressed his happiness that leaders of different religious groups as well as officials of the Health department were attending the meeting.

Reiterating the contributions made by the front line workers, doctors and civil society organisations, he reminded them of the relentless efforts made by the government to overcome the pandemic.

The leaders expressed their valuable willingness to extend cooperation.
