Massive fire in Assam-Nagaland border destroys 10 shops

Dimapur, April 18 (EMN): A massive fire broke out in Assam-Nagaland border near Nagaland new field check gate on Monday evening, destroying several shops and houses.
The Central Fire and Emergency Services Dimapur informed that it received a call about the fire incident at around 7:48 pm on Monday, following which fire-fighters along four fire tenders from central fire station, one from west fire station and two from Assam were pressed into action.
The fire was finally doused at around 8:40 pm.
The Central Fire station personnel informed that around 10 shops and few houses were destroyed in the fire incident and its cause is still under investigation.
No casualty was reported in the fire incident.
