MP Tokheho Yepthomi advises to implement CSS with transparency

Dimapur, April 20 (EMN): The lone Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from Nagaland, Tokheho Yepthomi, has advised all the members of the of the district development coordination committee (DISHA) to implement the centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) under their department with transparency.

Tokheho stated this during a meeting of DISHA members held in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner’s office in Dimapur on April 20.

A press release from the deputy commissioner of Dimapur stated that power point presentations were made by the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) and District Education Officer, Dimapur, on the activities taken up by the departments during the meeting. It added that PHED, PWD (Road and Bridges), District Social Welfare Officer, Food and Civil Supplies, Lead Bank and District Horticulture officer also presented their reports.

Besides, the members also discussed their success stories and challenges. Tokheho further directed the members to convey the issues discussed to their parent departments for necessary improvements.
