Dimapur, April 25 (EMN): Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, YM Yollow Konyak called on the Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate change, Labour and Employment Bhupender Yadav at his office in New Delhi on Monday.
In the meeting, Yollow highlighted the activities and central schemes in the state, while he also expressed his concern about climate change in the state, an update from PRO Nagaland House, New Delhi informed.
He also appealed to the Union Minister to consider the proposals and projects submitted in the ministry from the state.
It said that the union minister had assured to look into the matters shared by the minister. Yadav also congratulated the state for electing a woman as MP (Member of Parliament) to the Rajya Sabha. The minister was accompanied by Ved Prakash, Addl. PCCF and Wennyei Konyak, DRC, Nagaland House, New Delhi.
