Assam HSLC results: Student from Karbi Anglong secures top 3 rank

Diphu, June 7(EMN): Mridu Pawan Kalita, a student of Don Bosco School, Kheroni, West Karbi Anglong, secured the top third position in the High School Leaving Certificate (HLSC) result declared across Assam on Tuesday.
Mridu Pawan secured a total of 595 marks. He secured 49 in English (IL), 49 in Hindi, 100 in English, General Mathematics, General Science, Social Science, and Advance Mathematics. He is the son of Tarun Ch Kalita and Mira Baruah.
Mridu Pawan shared the same position with two other students — Labeeb Muzib of Don Bosco HS School, Boiragimath and Partha Pratim Das of Lohit Dikrong HS School, Bihpuria.
Karbi Anglong secured 49.92 pass percentage and West Karbi Anglong got 42.71 pass percentage in the examination conducted by SEBA.
In Karbi Anglong, 10,201 students appeared out of which 1026 secured first positions, 2,247 second positions and 1,819 third positions. The total students passed were 5,092, while in West Karbi Anglong total students passed were 2172.
This year, Dhemaji district stood in first position with a pass percentage of 85.46 %, while Dima Hasao district stood in second position with 81.31%.
