Dimapur, July 19 (EMN): The number of active COVID -19 cases in Nagaland increased to 75 with 15 fresh infections — six in Kohima, four in Phek, two in DImapur, and one each in Longleng, Peren and Wokha – reported on Tuesday.
The death toll remained unchanged at 759 with no fresh fatalities. According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID cases in the state has increased to 35628 and the recoveries rose to 33291 following recuperation of two cases each in Dimapur and Kohima, and one in Peren during the past 24 hours.
Out of the 75 active cases, 30 are asymptomatic, 38 mild, three moderate on oxygen, two severe on oxygen and two in ICU on ventilator. In terms of district-wise distribution, Kohima has 38 cases, Dimapur 21, Peren six, Phek four, Mokokchung and Longleng two each, and one each in Wokha and Zunheboto.
