Dimapur, Aug. 14 (EMN): Nagaland reported four new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 35,870, while the death toll increased to 770 with two fatalities registered during the same period.
An update by the Health department informed that the two cases were reported in Kohima, and one each in Dimapur and Mokokchung while five patients – three in Dimapur and two in Mokokchung– recuperated during the past 24 hours.
The total number of recoveries in the state have increased to 33,551.
The state currently has 36 active cases, out of which 25 are asymptomatic, nine mild, one moderate on oxygen, and one severe in ICU.
In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, there are nine cases in Mon, six in Kohima, five in Dimapur, four in Longleng, three each in Wokha and Zunheboto, two each in Tuensang and Mokokchung, and one each in Kiphire and Phek, while the remaining districts are COVID-free.
