Toddler dies after falling into ring well in Karbi Anglong

Diphu, Sep. 1 (EMN): In a tragic incident, a two-year old girl died on the spot after falling into an old ring well at Rongagora, Meran Lekthe village under Rongmongve police station in Karbi Anglong on Wednesday.

The family members of the victim informed that the tragic incident occurred when the toddler walked towards the old ring well while her elder sister was doing household chores. 

The incident is reportedly said to have occurred when the parents were away for work and the young girl was left alone with her elder sister.
