2nd MAC Football Championship kicked off at Karbi Anglong
The 2nd edition of Inter-Member Autonomous Council (MAC) Prize Money Football Championship-2023 was kicked off at Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) stadium, Diphu here on Monday.
The tournament was inaugurated by Member of Parliament (MP), Horensing Bey.
The tournament is being organised by KASA and West Karbi Anglong Sports Association, sponsored by Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).
The match will be played at KASA Stadium, Diphu, and Waisong Stadium, Dongkamukam in West Karbi Anglong respectively. Altogether 26 MACs are participating in the tournament.
The inaugural match was played between Singhason and Dhansiri constituencies.
The best player was awarded to Saingnon Hojaisa of Dhansiri Constituency.
