Nagaland Wushu Association to organise technical training from January 9
DIMAPUR — In view of the upcoming 3rd Nagaland Olympics scheduled to be held from February 12 to the 17th, the Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) is organising a technical training from January 9 to the 11th in Kohima, with three resource persons from Manipur.
Through the initiative, the association aims to train officials from all district-affiliated associations to prepare the players from all districts, as wushu is one of the disciplines to be played at the upcoming biggest sporting event of the state.
‘The training will cover taolu and sanda disciplines and attendees will receive a qualified certificate, enabling them to officiate in the Nagaland Olympics,’ read an update from the association.

The NWA went on to remind all players intending to participate in the upcoming Nagaland Olympics to register through their respective district affiliations.
The best players will be chosen to represent Nagaland in the Northeast Olympics, hosted by the state, it stated, adding that those selected in the state’s sporting event would be provided special training with an aim to win gold medals at the Northeast Olympics.
