Training on film appreciation course concludes
DIMAPUR — A five-day training on film appreciation course organised by Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), in collaboration with the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), concluded at DIPR conference hall in Kohima on Friday.
Speaking at the valedictory programme, resource person of the course, Niyaz Mujawar, expressed the importance of educating oneself with visual art, while the joint director of IPR, Asangla Imsong, has appreciated FTII for the two years collaboration and anticipated future ventures with the Institute.
A DIPR report stated that the students were taught different aspects of film-making such as cinematography, sounds, lighting and editing through a series of lectures and screening of films on varied genres during the five-day course. The course was well-attended by film makers and film enthusiasts from across the state.
