DIMAPUR — Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will virtually lay foundation stone for 23 stations under Amrit Bharat Station scheme, six road under bridges (RUB) and two road over bridges (ROB) on February 26 over Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).
To create awareness about the upgraded and modern facilities that would be provided at stations under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, various programmes were organised by NFR involving school students on the theme “Developed nation and developed railway of 2047.”
A press release issued by NFR chief PRO, Sabyasachi De, stated that a total of 12,510 students from 91 schools participated in speech, essay writing, poetry writing, debate and drawing/ painting competitions. It stated that 1058 students emerged as winners in those competitions, adding the winners would be awarded during the foundation stone laying function by the Prime Minister at the respective venues.
