DIMAPUR — Dimapur Police recovered the body of a male child, suspected to be stillborn, from the Dhansiri River on April 28.
According to an update, the police received telephonic information about it at around 5:45 pm at East Police Station, Dimapur. Acting on the information, personnel on duty reached the site. Subsequently, the body was found floating in the river below New Life Bible College.
After completing all legal formalities, the body was transferred to the District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination.
