Rio, Patton condole demise of Advisor Pangjung’s father
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton expressed condolences over the demise of Alienba Jamir, father of A Pangjung Jamir, Advisor for Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and MLA for the 21 Tuli Assembly Constituency, on Sunday.
In a condolence note, Rio expressed his sadness at the passing of late Alienba and described him as a God-fearing man known for his generosity and strong work ethic, who led an exemplary life.
“He served the state government, during which he executed his duties sincerely and diligently. He was also known for selflessly helping all those in need without any reservations,” Rio said.
“May you find comfort in the cherished memories and the legacy he leaves behind. My family joins me in conveying our deepest condolences to the bereaved family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and may Almighty God give you solace and strength to bear the irreparable loss,” he said, praying that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
Patton, in his message, said that losing a parent is one of life’s most challenging experiences. He acknowledged that Alienba must have been a remarkable man and that his legacy lives on through the advisor and the values he instilled.
“During this time of mourning, I hope you can find comfort in the memories you shared with your father. The love between a parent and child is eternal, transcending even death. I stand with you in this time of loss. May you all find strength in this time of grief,” he wrote, praying that the soul of the departed may rest in eternal peace.
