DIMAPUR — The Community Health Centre (CHC) Bhandari, in collaboration with Assam Rifles, held a one-day health camp in Ruchan village, Wokha district, on September 28.
According to a DIPR report, the health camp was organised under the initiative of aspirational villages of Yamnhon area.
Senior medical officer, Bhandari CHC, Dr. Caroline T, along with Assam Rifles, led a team of doctors and health workers who provided health care services and medicines to more than one hundred persons from the aspirational villages.
Laboratory blood tests, screening for non-communicable diseases and oral health screening were also done for 95 persons, all free of cost. Ayushman Pakwada was also held where awareness talks on CMHIS as well as CMHIS card generation for beneficiaries were carried out.
