Dimapur, Nov. 8 (EMN): The 36th GBs’ Trophy sports meet organised by the Ato Area Sports Association (AASA), kicked off on Tuesday at Hozukhe village, Niuland, with Nagaland state JD (U) general secretary, Kitoho S Rotokha, as special guest
Addressing the gathering, Rotokha shared some essential qualities sportspersons should have to succeed in life including dedication and sportsmanship spirit.
Earlier, the programme began with an invocation prayer by Inaholi Kiba, women pastor of Nihokhu town; Sheyipu Zhimo, head GB of Hozukhe and AAGBA chairman, delivered the welcome address.
The first men’s football match was played between Hozukhe ‘A’ and Loyir, which ended in a 1 – 1 draw.
