Ao Senden delegation meets DGP over Facebook post

DIMAPUR — An Ao Senden delegation, led by president Marsanen Imsong, met the Director General of Police of Nagaland, Rupin Sharma, and his subordinate officers in his office in Kohima on Wednesday, where they submitted a complaint letter.

An update from Ao Senden stated that the complaint was against the creator of the alleged “defamatory, insulting, outrageous, and despicable” post in The Patriotic Nagas Facebook group, as well as the admins and moderators.

The Ao Senden delegation was assured by the DGP that positive action would be taken against the perpetrators at the earliest.

The Ao Senden further requested all Ao citizens to allow the law to take its course and to stay calm for the time being while remaining alert to deal with any exigency that may arise.
