Assam Rifles conducts career guidance session for Tuensang youths
DIMAPUR — The 28th Assam Rifles organised an awareness lecture on career opportunities in the Indian Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) on Friday at the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) auditorium, Tuensang.
The session aimed to illuminate the diverse career paths available within the Indian Armed Forces and CAPF, providing the youth with a world of opportunities, according to a DIPR report.
Through interactive presentations and discussions, students gained insights into the various roles, responsibilities, and benefits associated with serving the nation through these organisations.
Additionally, the commandant of the 28th Assam Rifles felicitated 16 candidates who were successful in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination during the event.
Sunil Gupta, principal of GHSS Tuensang, expressed gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organising such events, which, according to him, not only broadened the students’ horizons but also inspired them to contribute to the nation’s service.
