BAN expands leadership with new vice presidents, committees
DIMAPUR — The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) held an oath-taking ceremony on November 4 at the BAN conference hall, DC Court Junction, Dimapur.
According to a press release, the ceremony introduced new office bearers and standing committee members.
The expansion of BAN’s leadership includes the appointment of four new vice presidents and the formation of 19 new standing committees comprised of convenors and over 60 members.
Zubeno Mozhui, convener of the committee tasked with selecting the new office bearers and members, speaking on the occasion, outlined the difficult process of identifying and selecting individuals from the pool of BAN members.
In his speech, BAN president L Mongkum Jamir emphasised the role of the committees in the vision of BAN as well as the importance of their collective commitment to fostering economic growth in Nagaland.
