DIMAPUR — There are dozens of budget smartphones priced under Rs 7000 such as Xiaomi Redmi A1, Samsung Galaxy A03 Core, Micromax IN 2C, realme C30 and others currently available in the Indian market but smartphone-making companies have not released new devices under this price range for several months now.
However, consumers can choose from a long list of budget smartphones — Xiaomi Redmi A1, Samsung Galaxy A03 Core, Micromax IN 2C, realme C30, etc. – and they are worth the money.
Here are some of the best smartphones (in no particular order) under Rs 7000 you can buy in India in February 2023:
Xiaomi Redmi A1
Released on September 9, 2022, Xiaomi Redmi A1 is one of the most popular budget smartphones in the Indian market. It sports a 6.52 inch HD+ scratch-resistant display with a screen resolution of 1600×720 (269 ppi pixel density).
It is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 (up to 2GHz) quad core processor, runs on Android v12 operating system, and has an 8MP Dual AI primary camera, and 5MP front snapper.
The Redmi A1 has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, expandable up to 512GB, and powered by a 5000mAh battery with a 10W fast charger.
The device is available on Amazon (at the time of filing this story) at Rs 6499.
Samsung Galaxy A03 Core
Released on December 6 2021, Samsung Galaxy A03 Core features a 6.5 inch PLS LCD display with 720 x 1600 screen resolution (270 ppi pixel density).
It is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A (28nm) Octa-core processor, runs on Android 11 (Go edition) operating system, and houses 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory.
It also features an 8 MP primary camera with f/2.0 (AF), a 5 MP (f/2.2) selfie camera and a Li-Ion 5000 mAh non-removable camera.
Samsung Galaxy A03 Core is currently available at Rs 6499 on Amazon, while is comes with a price tag of Rs 6999 on official Samsung website and Croma.
realme C30
Sporting a 6.5-inch HD+ Display, the realme C30 was released on June 27, 2022. It is powered by a Unisoc T612 octa core processor and runs on Android 11 operating system.
The realme C30 comes with a 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, expandable up to 1 TB; an 8MP Dual AI primary camera, 5MP front snapper, and a 5000mAh battery.
The device currently available on Amazon at Rs 6499 and on Croma at Rs 6999.
Micromax IN 2C
Released on April 26 2022, Micromax IN 2C sports a 6.52-inch touchscreen display with 720×1600 screen resolution (269 ppi pixel density). It is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 processor and runs on Android v11 operating system.
The device comes with a 3GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory expandable up to 256 GB, 8 MP main camera, 5 MP front snapper, and 5000 mAh non-removable battery.
Micromax IN 2C is currently priced at Rs 5999 on Flipkart.
Samsung Galaxy M01 Core
Samsung Galaxy M01 Core was released on July 27, 2020, but this budget smartphone is still worth for its money with a 5.3 inch Full HD+ Display and 1480 x 720 screen resolution (310 ppi pixel density).
It is powered by MediaTek | MT6739WW quad core processor clocking at 1.5 GHz, runs on Android Q 10 operating system, and comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory expandable up to 512 GB.
It also features an 8MP primary camera, 5MP front snapper and a 3000 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is currently on Flipkart at Rs 6,490.
realme C11
Launched on June 28, 2021, the realme C11 sports a 6.5 inch LCD screen display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory expandable up to 256GB.
It is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A octa-core processor, runs on Android 11 operating system, features an 8MP AI primary camera and 5MP AI front snapper, and houses 5000mAh battery.
The realme C11 is currently available on Amazon at Rs 6990 but it priced at Rs 8999 on realme official website.
