Kohima, Nov. 18 (EMN): The 5th edition of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK) men’s fellowship annual sports meet got underway on Friday here at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma ground.
The meet was graced by Rev. Dr. Kevekhalo Lasuh, senior pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church, Kitsubozou, who unfurled the meet and declared the meet open.
A total of 11 teams are taking part in the two-day meet featuring games including football and 4X100 m relay race.
Friday’s exhibition match between CBCMHK men’s fellowship executives 11 and CBCK men’s fellowship executives ended in a 1- 1 draw.
In men’s 4X100 m relay race, Supply/PR Hill/Officers Hill Colony emerged as winner. New Ministers’ Hill/Aradura/Tekhouba colony and Agri & Electrical colony were placed in the second and third positions respectively. Meanwhile, Agri Electrical Colony, Supply/PR Hill/ Officers Hill Colony, Lerie/NST/New Reserve Colony, PWD/Chandmari/Town Area Colony, AG/Tsiepfütsiepfe colony, won their respective matches in football event to qualify for the next round.
