CNTC holds meeting with Ao civil societies

Mokokchung, July 27 (EMN): The Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) led by its president held a consultative meeting with Ao Senden, Watsu Mungdang, Mokokchung Town Aoer Telongjem, All Ward Union Mokokchung and Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem during CNTC maiden tour to the district at Ao Senden Conference Hall on Wednesday.
The CNTC team led by president, T Lanu Imchen, and newly formed Central Nagaland Women Association (CNWA) officials are currently touring Wokha, Zunheboto and Mokokchung districts to take stock on various issues pertaining to CNTC.
During the meeting, Imchen apprised the gathering that CNCT always works for the Nagas as a whole and pursue the path of unity, fraternity and solidarity as enshrined in CNTC motto. CNTC leaders also informed that the Central Nagaland Gazetted Officer’s Forum and Youth Front would soon be set up.
While highlighting some achievements of CNTC, they also requested the Ao community to continue their support and cooperation to CNTC.
They further expressed their gratitude to the former leaders, who withstood the pressures faced from various corners since its inception, adding, what CNCT has reached at present was because of their visionary and unwavering leadership and magnanimous support from its federating apex bodies.
CNTC vice presidents Khondao Ngullie and Hukiye Yepthomi and CNWA president Atoli Sumi and other officials also spoke at the meeting.
The CNTC team along with CNWA officials will be visiting the remote areas of Mokokchung district namely Mangkolemba and Longchem area to take stock of matters pertaining to development disparities and other issues.
