Co-ordination meeting held for upcoming Dr. T Ao Trophy
Dimapur, March 10 (EMN): A co-ordination meeting for the 22nd Dr. T Ao Trophy (Inter-District Football championship) was held in Kohima on Thursday.
A press release informed that the meeting was held under the chairmanship of Zale Neikha, Advisor for Youth Resource and Sports (YRS) and attended by officials from the Youth Resources and Sports department (YRS), Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA), who is also the host, and Nagaland Football Association (NFA).
It may be mentioned that the championship coincides with the 50-year anniversary celebration of NFA. The tournament is tentatively set to be held in April 2022 with 16 participating teams.
