Council of Chakhesang Revival Churches Youth Association celebrates golden jubilee

KOHIMA — The Council of Chakhesang Revival Churches Youth Association (CCRCYA) celebrated its golden jubilee on the theme ‘Jihova Tshe’ from December 15 to 17, at Pfutsero Town Christian Revival Church.

According to a press release, the jubilee celebrations began on December 15 with a dedicatory service at the Mission Centre at Chetheba. Rev. Buliechü Koza led the dedication ceremony, and Rev. Zhowhuyi Nyekha unveiled the jubilee monolith stone to commemorate the joyous occasion.

On the second day, various churches affiliated with the CCRCYA showcased their musical talents, which included solo and group songs, as well as the presentation of the theme song ‘Jihova Tshe’ composed by Elijah Sono.

Rev. Senüto Ringa, pastor, Chesezu CRC; Rev. Z David Koza, executive secretary, Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches; Rev. Zaseyi Veswuh, chairman, Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches; and Dr. Rokosano Koza, associate pastor, Chakhesang Christian Revival Church, Upper PWD, Kohima, were the speakers for the jubilee celebration.

The jubilee celebration concluded with delegate churches performing solos, musical recitation, musical play, and drama. Sweven, a well-known band, made a special appearance.
