Council of Nagalim Churches to hold special prayer on Sep. 6
Dimapur, Sep. 4 (EMN): Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) has called upon all its units, battalions, brigades and regional churches to hold a special prayer on September 6 for God’s intervention so that all the Nagas, especially the leaders surrender and submit themselves to the will of God and obey His commands.
The CNC, in a statement issued by its general secretary Ikato Chishi Swu, has also appealed to all denominational churches, prayer groups, prayer warriors and every responsible citizens to observe the programme in their respective places on that day.
As the Israelites received God’s favour because their leaders especially Moses and Aaron obeyed God’s commands and did everything exactly according to His commands, Swu stated that Nagas similarly need God’s intervention to let India grant favour to Nagas to achieve their honourable and acceptable political solution as the political negotiation between NSCN and GoI inches towards inking the final settlement.
“The urgent need of the hour is to pray harder more than ever, to let all the Nagas and especially all its leaders surrender and submit themselves to the will of God and obey His commands so that, like the Israelites, Nagas will also receive God’s favour,” the statement read.
