DC Peren notifies on charges for Aadhar

Dimapur, Feb. 2 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Peren, Sentiwapang Aier has notified on approved charges levied for Aadhaar enrolment including fresh registration, correction/ updation by the enrolment centres. He informed that fresh Aadhar enrolment and mandatory biometric updates (MBU) along with demographic update would be free. He, however, stated that biometric update with or without demographic update would be charged INR 100, while the demographic update would cost INR 50 and e-Aadhar download and color print on A4 sheet would cost INR 30. He has urged the public to immediately report to his office against any operators/ supervisors of Aadhaar enrolment centre’s charging more than the prescribed rates in order to initiate necessary action under the relevant laws.
