Dimapur, Feb. 24 (EMN): The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) has condemned the assault on one of the senior journalists in Dimapur by a person identified as Phyobemo Odyuo, on February 13.
Expressing shock over the incident, the DPC has demand the authorities concerned to take immediate action against the accused.
“We vehemently condemn the atrocious assault on one of the members of our fraternity who was simply attending to his call of duty as a media professional. This is yet another ugly reminder of the continued assault on the freedom of the press in the State,” read the press release.
