DoSE organises orientation programme for Hindi teachers
KOHIMA — The Directorate of School Education (DoSE), in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland (SSN), organised a two-day orientation programme for Hindi teachers in Wokha and Mokokchung districts on April 24 and 25 respectively.
An update from the department stated that around 200 Hindi teachers under Wokha and 263 Hindi teachers under Mokokchung attended the programme.
Dr. Munni Chaudhary, associate professor and head of Hindi department at Nagaland University, spoke in Wokha, while Ravinder Kumar, instructor at Government Hindi Institute, Dimapur, spoke in Mokokchung. It stated that the speakers dwelled on ‘Methodology of teaching Hindi language, grammar and idioms and basic skills’ require as Hindi teachers.
Other resource persons included Rometo Sema, HEO at DoSE, and Peter Sema, assistant director of DoSE.
Zhokupa Hoshi, APO at DoSE, and Ruchunlo Tep, JEO at DoSE, chaired the programme in Wokha and Mokokchung respectively.
The second day of the programme concluded with discussion and interactions with the participants.
