‘Dough Re Me Bakes’ launches outlet in Chümoukedima
DIMAPUR — ‘Dough Re Me Bakes’ on Friday opened its third outlet at CT Square in Chümoukedima.
Proprietor of Dough Re Me Bakes, Mesangla Longkumer, shared that she started her bakery business during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019. Longkumer added that she taught her two daughters and her nephew how to bake and are currently working together.
She informed that they will be opening a new outlet in Kohima in August this year. It may be mentioned that the two other outlets are located in Kuda village (Nagarjan), Dimapur, and 3rd Mile, Chümoukedima.
Longkumer said that they decided to open the new outlet as they have a lot of loyal customers in Chümoukedima besides CT Square being an ideal location.
Maintaining that they use the best flour, eggs and vegetables from the local producers to bake their products fresh every morning, she informed that they do not serve or sell the leftovers.
She further shared that though Nagas are new to the type of services offered by them, the responses have, so far, been good.
One of the challenges they frequently face was erratic power supply in their bakery located at Aoyimti Colony in Dimapur.
