EduCentre School of Business team meets Invest India for possible collaboration
DIMAPUR— EduCentre School of Business (ESB), an incubator under startup Nagaland, government of Nagaland, was invited by the Startup Seed Fund Secretariat for the inauguration of the International Convention Centre (ICC) at ITPO on July 26 in Delhi. The new centre was inaugurated by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
An update from ESB stated that its team met the Invest India officials, a national investment promotion and facilitation agency that helps investors looking for investment opportunities and options in India, on the following day. The Invest India team was led by their COO, Priya Rawat.
The team has discussed potential collaboration of Nagaland startups with eco systems players especially in building market linkages and a strong investor network. It added that the team discussed around fostering collaboration and partnership among entrepreneurs in the Northeast region to facilitate numerous businesses and start ups in the region.
It mentioned that in January 2023, ESB became the first incubator from the Northeast to be nominated for SISFS. The ESB team has acknowledged the significant role played by startup Nagaland to build the eco system of startups/ entrepreneurship in Nagaland and IDAN, which has been facilitating opportunities for investors, companies and local youths.
