DIMAPUR — Fazl Ali College (FAC), Mokokchung, celebrated its 65th foundation day at the college auditorium on Saturday, with Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, as the guest of honour.
Meritorious students for the academic year 2024 were also felicitated during the event, according to a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, Phoji said that Fazl Ali College has produced many notable personalities and congratulated the college, led by the principal, for having so many faculty members, staff, and students excelling in their respective departments.
He also noted that numerous opportunities await all students, whether they are in the Science, Arts, or Commerce streams, and added that everyone can find their own path if they continue to pursue their dreams with sincerity and dedication.

The principal of FAC, I Wati Imchen, presented in his foundation day speech a summary of the college’s achievements, development, and growth over the past year. He highlighted the progress made academically by students and the various accomplishments of the faculty members.
He also reported on the infrastructural developments at the college and the various international and national events hosted and organised there.
Earlier, LS Vinod Kumar, vice principal of FAC, in his welcome address, said that the foundation day was a time to reflect on the college’s beginnings and the changes that have taken place over the years.
