DIMAPUR — The 37th GB’s Trophy organised by the Ato Area Sports Association (AASA) under the aegis of Western Sumi Sports Association (WSSA), kicked off at Khehoyi village on November 20 with the motto “Unity through Sports”.
An update from the AASA media cell stated that special guest of the event, Mughavi N Zhimomi, Operational Manager, Auto Carrier, New Delhi, told the youth to stay away from alcohol and drugs to excel in sports.
He went on to encourage the GBs to live an exemplary life.
Also speaking at the programme, Mughato Aye, vice president of Nagaland Football Association (NFA) and president of WSSA, Vikuto Zhimomi, told the young players to work hard in order to excel.
