Nagaland Governor La. Ganesan flags off IEC van in Kohima

DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor, La. Ganesan flagged off the information, education, and communication (IEC) van of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Raj Bhavan in Kohima on Thursday.

In his short speech, the governor said that the campaign would benefit people by enhancing awareness about government schemes. He also expressed his happiness to the organisers for organising the Viksit Sankalp Yatra programme, which is aimed at reaching out to the citizens and creating awareness about the benefits and application procedures of various schemes taken up under the prime ministership of Narendra Modi, stated a DIPR report.

Also speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner of Kohima, stated that the IEC was launched by the prime minister, Narendra Modi.

He informed that the launch programme of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra for Kohima district was held at D Khel ground, Siekhazou, organised by the Kohima district administration along with line departments to promote and educate about the central schemes and other development success stories.

The secretary to the governor and other officials also attended the programme.
