Greenwood School holds annual science exhibition

DIMAPUR — Greenwood School in Kuda village, Dimapur, on Friday held its annual science exhibition at the school auditorium showcasing the creativity and innovation of the students.

An update from the school stated that the event featured 238 models created by students from classes 1 to12. The diverse range of exhibits included both working models and demonstrative displays, evaluated across different categories.

Dr. Wenyitso Kapfo, associate professor and head of Botany department at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma, attended the occasion as the special guest.

He appreciated the school for coming up with such a programme, which would help in building innovative minds of the future generations. He also appreciated the creative works of the students and efforts of the school.

In his keynote presentation, Dr. Kapfo emphasised the significance of science and biotechnology and explored the impact of artificial intelligence across various fields.

It mentioned that many of the models utilised recycled materials, reflecting the students’ commitment to sustainability.

The exhibition witnessed participation of students, teachers and parents.
