MOKOKCHUNG — Tzuwasanen, a young entrepreneur, has officially launched ‘Aonsotsu,’ a grocery delivery service specifically designed for the residents of Mokokchung.

The new venture, accessible through a mobile app available on Google Play Store or via the website aonsotsu.com, allows consumers to order groceries from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to visit physical stores.

The launch event of ‘Aonsotsu’ was held at Urban Hub Café in Mokokchung town with the chairman of Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC), Imkongchuba, as the special guest on September 2.

According to Tzuwasanen, the idea of creating a one-stop groceries delivery service was conceived nearly a decade ago. However, the lack of marketing knowledge and experience delayed its realisation.

It was only after gaining valuable experience working in a marketing company, he finally decided to bring his vision to life in April 2024.

‘Aonsotsu’ aims to go beyond merely offering quick and efficient grocery deliveries. It also seeks to cater to the increasing digital demands of consumers and provide employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth.

“The old mentality of seeking government jobs after completing their studies should change; I want to encourage the uneducated unemployed youth to work towards self-reliance,” Tzuwasanen asserted.

Currently, ‘Aonsotsu’ offers around 50 grocery items including both perishable and non-perishable goods; all priced according as per the rates set by the Mokokchung Municipal Council.

Delivery services cover 18 wards in Mokokchung town with charges ranging from INR 30 to INR 50 depending on the distance. The founder has assured quality standards and timely deliveries.

Tzuwasanen  also disclosed his plans to expand ‘Aonsotsu’ beyond Mokokchung by collaborating with local companies and artisans including those producing handicrafts, baked goods, home décor and food products.

The platform also aims to serve as a direct link for farmers to sell their organic products.

MMC chairman, Imkongchuba, emphasised the importance of e-commerce in modern life, highlighting its ability to offer consumers a wide range of products with just a few clicks. He congratulated the founder on his noble venture and assured him of the MMC’s full support and advised him to build strong customer relationships while ensuring efficient delivery services.
