Highway Area Sumi Sports Association to hold annual sports

DIMAPUR — M Tohoshe Swu, president of Highway Area Sumi Sports Association, has informed that the association’s 11th annual sports meet will be held from November 4 to 8 at K. Hollohon village.

An update mentioned that Howoto Jakhalu, a Class-I government-registered contractor, will inaugurate the tournament as the special guest. Tokishe Achumi, vice president of Western Sumi Kukami Hoho, will close the tournament as the guest of honour, while Hokato Hotozhe Sema, bronze medallist at the Paralympic Games in Paris, will be a special invitee for the tournament.

Altogether, 19 villages in the Highway area will participate in different games, including football, volleyball, and badminton.
